Spent some time on Quaker Mountain in Routt National Forest during the last new moon, and got to experience the sublime morning and evening light that the broad, dome-like mountain affords a southern exposure. Recent monsoonal moisture prompted the vegetation to respond, much of which was over four feet tall!
