‘Boondocking’: camping off-grid, typically not at a campground, and usually without any sort of amenities or formally-designated sites. Legal under most circumstances on BLM land, and under some circumstances on National Forest land, it has become very popular since the COVID pandemic drove everyone outside. In every one of these images is some sign of a camper, though in some images it may be somewhat hidden, hard to find.
